The Panama Maritime Authority Liaison Office

 is engaged in the following endeavors in Pakistan:

• 
  
   It is the highest maritime authority for the Republic of Panama to enforce the rights and duties of the Republic of Panama within the framework of the United Nations Conventions and Admiralty Law, 1982, as well as all laws and regulations presently in force.
  
  



• Administrate, promote, regulate, plan and execute all strategies, norms and programs related to the development and operations of the Panama Maritime Sector.



• Enforce laws established for training, guardianship, and degrees of all maritime personnel.



• Responsible for the strict enforcement of Treaties, Agreements and any other international instruments related to maritime affairs and ratified by the Republic of Panama.


• Administrate registration of vessel in Panama.
