SPS was established in 1993 to help organizations improve software development productivity using HP Softbench. SPS was authorized to resell HP servers, storage, printers and PCs. SPS consultants assisted federal organizations in implementing the SEI capability maturity model and develop software applications. SPS also delivered courses on HP-UX, Softbench, C /C++ for HP Education.
In 1994 SPS extended it’s application development expertise to network and systems management. HP authorized SPS to resell OpenView software. SPS assisted customers in the design and deployment of IT management systems. SPS won a major contract with HP Professional services to design the email and DNS for Navy medical. HP education subcontracted SPS to develop courses on internet security and web infrastructure design. These courses were delivered to a worldwide audience.
In mid 1990s, IBM Education selected SPS to deliver Unix and security courses. The first Public-Key infrastructure course on Vault Registry was designed and delivered in 1998. Since then we have developed and delivered courses on IBM WebSphere and Tivoli Security. Last year SPS developed the first web based course for IBM education.
