It is utilizing <A onmouseover="showtip(this,event,'Islamic Charity Fund ')" onmouseout=hidetip() href="http://www.pvtc.gop.pk/index.html#"><FONT color=#0000ff>Zakat</FONT></A> funds for poverty alleviation by providing demand driven skills to <A onmouseover="showtip(this,event,'Eligible For Islamic Charity Fund ')" onmouseout=hidetip() href="http://www.pvtc.gop.pk/index.html#"><FONT color=#0000ff>Mustahqeen-a-Zakat</FONT></A> and assisting them in their placement. Majority of the trainees of already established sixty VTIs have been gainfully employed within few weeks of their passingout.<BR>The <A onmouseover="showtip(this,event,'Punjab Vocational Training Council')" onmouseout=hidetip() href="http://www.pvtc.gop.pk/index.html#"><FONT color=#0000ff>PVTC</FONT></A> is an autonomous corporate body established by the Punjab Government through PVTC Act of 1998. The Council consists of thirteen members working on honorary basis, out of which three ex-officio members are Secretaries to the Government of the Punjab and others are from Private Sector.
