Jaleel Group was founded by Hon. Chairman Mr. M.V. Kunhumohamed in 1972 with a shop in Murshid Bazaar, Dubai. The operations involved dealing in fresh fruits. In 1973, the group re-located to the Old Fish Market.

Today the Group is among the leading wholesalers with an impressive portfolio of over 5000 products and branches across the UAE, employing more than 500 employees.

The Group has a vast supplier network from across the globe, and imports a range of products from India, Italy, Pakistan, China, Kenya, Holland, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany and South Africa.
