In the starting classes when English came to be the compulsory subject. I would always be confused about the basic rules of pronouncing the English words accurately and I would ask my teacher to let me know some applied rule to pronounce the words but no fruitful answers.

It kept on going with the same spirit. I passed my high school and I expected that now I would find my answers but still nobody would help me out with my queries.
As a common language student of English language, I moved place to place to find an institution with a proper training program. But every institution I went to, found the same traditional teaching style.

Every time, I would ask the teacher,” why is this difference? Why is this difference that the language you speak in the class is different as compared to that of being spoken in the cassette”. But every time I would be silenced with the same answer that those ones are the native English speaker and they have their natural accent. We could not be them even if we tried.

As I have been an artist and the natural thing about the artists is that they always observe the things deeply and not only and a surface observation. Artists are keen observers of the situations and they try to dig deep down.So, every time the same answer. One day I would be challenged by one of the teachers," I'll see the day you speech a language, the one you ask for every time.Thank God! That was the time when I would start my journey towards exploring the horizons for speaking the English with the proper accent.

It would take me days and nights and I would spend all my time in front of my computer, listen as much I could. Even I remember those days when I would spend continuous three days in one sitting, reason being I was enjoying what I was doing. I would read news papers, watch English movies, documentaries, listen to English music and anything related to English language one way or the other.

The journey kept on, and now when I have spent my 10 years in the same quest, it has given me a lot of things I would never expect. I live a happy life because what I do, I enjoy doing it. Because I understand, lucky are those people who enjoy their work
